And now we meet the father. I will try to put together some drawings of the parents for the character pages shortly. An old friend and strong supporter of The Moose Riders thinks that I should write commentary more often. Not sure if he wants info about what goes into a page, or just a […]
This page? Two weeks early. First time in two years that I’ve had more than 1 page in the buffer. My wife is pretty good at anticipating potential conflict and figuring out ways to avoid it, or defusing it when it can’t be avoided. I tend to react with angry yelling. In calm moments I […]
Here’s another tiny 2-page spread, so ENLARGE: Let me point out a few examples of artistic license in action here. The vehicle is based a bit on my lovely wife’s RAV4–200K+ miles and still serving us faithfully. The gas cap is actually on the driver’s side, but I thought drawing the car pointing to the […]
I’d like to take a moment to express how happy I am that Google Image Search exists. And Google Maps with Street View. And coffee. This summer will feature a road trip to Disney World for my family. I imagine it will be fairly similar to this, only much longer.
Not sure if the image on that DVD player in Panel 2 is ok to use or not. Does this fall under fair use? Any copyright lawyers reading this that want to give me some free advice?
My summer vacation is wrapping up. This was a busy one, with trips to Disney World, Holiday World, Six Flags, and Raging Rivers. Also drew caricatures at the zoo, moved bedrooms around, and still put up a Moose Riders page every week. As I mentioned before, we’re getting close to the end of Chapter 2, […]
As I mentioned last week, I’m going to try to start doing two pages a week during the b/w flashback sequences, so check back on Friday for the next page! In other news, if it pisses off Karl Rove, it must be a good thing, right?
Here you go–as promised, a second page this week. Will plan on continuing this schedule as often as possible. I predict difficulties once the flashback ends and we go back to color, but I’ll try my best to stick with it.
Honestly, this bit was in my Moose Riders outline long before The Walking Dead episode in which Shane shot Otis.
