Motorcycling is an expression of freedom in its purest form.  Being a Moose Rider means having these virtues:

The ability to enjoy riding motorcycles

Kindness at home and in the Lodge

Courtesy in society and the Lodge

Honesty and Fairness in Business and in the Lodge

Always help create a positive image of the motorcyclist, help for all those who need assistance

Fellowship without economic, political or religious restrictions

Forgiveness and love for one another and above all Reverence and Respect for God.

When a brother or sister is broken down by the side of the road, always stop and help them. Even moral support, if that is all you can give, is better than riding on by. Remember life is about the journey, the ride, not getting there. You already are there. Courtesy costs you nothing and gives you everything.

"Bikes don't leak oil, they mark their territory.
"Never ask a biker for directions if you're in a hurry to get there.
"Sometimes it takes a whole tank full of gas before you can think straight.
"Young riders pick a destination and go. Old riders pick a direction and go.
"People are like motorcycles: each is customized a bit differently.
"The best alarm clock is sunshine on chrome.
"When you are leading, don't spit.
"A friend is someone who'll get out of bed at 2 am to drive his pickup to the middle of nowhere to get you when you're broken down.
